There is alot of opportunty for Greensboro's future center-city park. The park should be much more than simply green space. It should be a central gathering place where a number of activities take place. Seasonal events and attractions such as a Christmas Market and an outdoor ice skating rink are all wonderful ideas to attact people to the park. The corner of the park near Friendly Avenue and Elm Street can be designed for street vendors and street musicians. There should also be attractions for children such as interative water fountains and maybe even a carrousel. Other events that can take place are concerts, theatrical events, outdoor evening movies, art shows and so much more.
